We sometimes find that a number of mails don’t go through to the relevant recipients within your establishment(s) due to various settings created by their mail service– settings which we are unable to change from our side.
An example of this is when you're trying to reset your password for a particular website. The site says “check your inbox for a password reset email” but there is no email in your inbox. This frustrating problem can also occur when you are signing up with a site, or adding an email address to your profile. It can also prevent you from getting posts from an online group (like a mailing list).
Services like Gmail, Outlook.com and Yahoo! Mail often block emails to protect you from unwanted or malicious emails. Sometimes Lobster Ink emails can be blocked because your email service is mistaking our communication with phishing, scam or spam mails. We suggest having your IT team unblock or whitelist the email@example.com email address prior to the Lobster Ink launch, as this is the email address the mailers will be sent from. By doing this, the mailers are more likely to be delivered on launch day.
