In Progress = Translation in progress.
Approval Required = Language translated but requires approval to go live.
Approved = Translation has been approved and is ready to go live once the course is launched or updated.
Translation Required = Changes have been made to the English text that haven’t been translated yet.
Failed = Translation has failed (usually due to a partial translation), please click retry.
Q: Can I translate my course?
A: Yes, you can translate your course into any of Lobster Ink’s 30+ supported platform languages.
Q: What language does my course need to be translated from?
A: Courses always need to be translated from English.
Q: When will team members see the translated languages?
A: Team members will only see translated languages once the translation has been approved and the course has been launched or updated.
Q: Do I have to review translations before approving?
A: No, it’s not mandatory to review translations before approving them.
Q: Can I update translations?
A: Yes, you can review and update translations at any time.
Q: Can I update and translate my course again after it’s been translated and launched?
A: Yes, you can make updates to the course and translate those updates.
Only the updated English text will be translated; we don’t retranslate the entire course.
Q: What will happen if I launch or update my course with the Translation Required status?
A: Any English text that hasn’t been translated will appear in English until it’s been translated and approved.
Q: Can I delete translations once they’ve been approved and launched?
A: No, once translations have been approved, they will be available for team members until the course is unlaunched.
