Who can cancel an assignment for a learner?
- Any manager in the learner group for the learner
Note: The products in an assignment cannot be removed from an assignment for a user. To achieve that, the assignment should be edited to remove the product(which will affect the full audience of the assignment), or a new assignment needs to be created.
There are two options to cancel an assignment
- Cancel an assignment from the Learner Details page: will remove the assignment from the learners' Current Assignments. Assignments that the learner has started will be moved to the self-assigned section on their Learn page.
- Cancel an assignment from the Manage Assignments page: will remove the assignment from everyone specified in the audience of the assignment. Assignments that the learner has started will be moved to the self-assigned section on their Learn page.
Note: Cancelling an assignment cannot be undone
Cancel an assignment from the Learner Details page.
Step 1: In the top menu, click MANAGE and select MANAGE LEARNERS.
Search for the learner and click VIEW LEARNER DETAILS next to the learner’s name.
Step 2: Find the assignment you want to remove from the learner’s current assignments and click.
Click REMOVE ASSIGNMENT FROM LEARNER.
Step 3: Click CONFIRM
Cancel an assignment from the Manage Assignments page
Step 1: In the top menu, click MANAGE and select MANAGE ASSIGNMENTS.
Search for the assignment and click the assignment.
Step 2: Click CANCEL ASSIGNMENT
Step 3: Click CONFIRM
